Welcome to this online learning course focused on supporting and developing your team
This course is part of a suite of courses that support the development of new managers which are aligned to the Manager Induction Standards. It will provide you with an introduction to key topic areas to peak your interest and direct you to where you can start to learn more and to continue your development. You will hear from other experienced managers, learn about best practice and have time to reflect on your own behaviours.
The course is aligned to part of Standard 2 of the Manager Induction Standards and will cover the following topics:
- Team leadership and management
- Recruitment
- Team learning and development
- Supervision and supporting performance
100% of the cost of these courses can be reimbursed via the Adult Social Care Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS).
Objectives

- explain how to use recruitment practices to retain your workforce
- describe how to support your team to develop
- explain good practices in supervisions and the procedures that support performance management.
